Spinner baits have been a favorite since ever… grew up in PNW where Mepp’s for trout and steelhead are a norm. Spinner variants worked for Crappie and Largemouth here in Georgia around the Piedmont foothills. On an overfished "Lake City" lake, habitat for fish that have seen it all, where catching- is rare but definitely happens. Less often than not, Pro or Hobbyist, regardless.
I call hog wash I have tried to catch bass on one for over year now and canโt seem to get a single fish on one
Is this the 1/4 or the 1/2 ounce spinnerbait?
My uncle used to nail Muskie with these types of spinners, he would run it so the spinner just barely broke the water giving a kind of surface lure effect except of course the lure was still underwater.
Went to the link and the spinner baits donโt have this slim shady on it. Itโs a regular spinner bait
First time throwing a spinner bait a few days ago landed 7 total at a small lake where people catch 1 if theyโre lucky

In 1972 I got a Subscription to BASS Master magazine from my Grandparents. They sent me a Spinnerbait with my subscription and Iโve been fishing one ever since. Iโve probably caught half the bass Iโve caught in my life on one and havenโt caught a bass on one since yesterday.
