It’s easy to spend hundreds of dollars on a tackle box of pretty lures, but you really don’t need all that. The best way to become a better angler is to focus on a small number of lures and get really good at using those. With time, you will want to move up to more lures and more colors, but they are not essential for beginners to start catching a lot of fish and having a lot of fun.
